233. The pension shall be paid for life and is payable from the day on which the judge retires or at the latest from 31 December of the year in which he reaches 71 years of age.

233. From the death of a retired judge, his spouse is entitled to a pension equal to one-half of the pension that was granted to the judge.
From the death of a judge in office, his spouse is entitled to a pension equal to one-half of the pension that the judge would have received had he been entitled to a pension at the time of his death.
