116. A judge who has held the office of chief judge, senior associate chief judge, associate chief judge, president of the Human Rights Tribunal or chair of the Professions Tribunal for at least seven years is entitled to receive, until his salary as a judge is equal to the amount of salary and additional remuneration he was receiving when he ceased to hold such office, the difference between the latter amount and his salary.
The same applies where the judge is appointed to the Municipal Court of Montréal, Laval or Québec.

116. A judge of the Youth Court shall, before entering upon his functions, take the following oath of office before the chief judge, the senior associate chief judge or the associate chief judge of such Court:
“I, (name and surname), swear that I will faithfully, impartially and honestly, to the best of my knowledge and ability, fulfil all the duties and exercise all the powers of a judge of the Youth Court.”

116. Judges of the Social Welfare Court, before entering upon their functions, shall take the following oath of office before the Chief Judge or the Associate Chief Judge of the Social Welfare Court, the chief judge of the Provincial Court or the associate chief judge of the Provincial Court:
“I, (name and surname), swear that I will faithfully, impartially and honestly, to the best of my knowledge and ability, fulfill all the duties and exercise all the powers of a judge of the Social Welfare Court.”
