49.1. For the purposes of an inquiry under section 49, the Commission, each of its members and any person designated by the Minister under section 17.8 has the powers and immunity of commissioners appointed under the Act respecting public inquiry commissions (chapter C-37), except the power to impose imprisonment.

49.1. The Commission, any person designated by it and any investigator of the Department has, to inquire into any fact related to the application of this Act, the regulations and the orders, the powers and immunity of commissioners appointed under the Act respecting public inquiry commissions (chapter C-37), except the power to impose imprisonment.
