126. Every public establishment must, at least once each year, hold, in accordance with the regulations, a public information meeting, in which the population of the territory served by the establishment shall be invited to participate.
The members of the board of directors must there answer the questions put to them respecting the establishment’s financial statements, the services it provides and the relations it has with the other establishments and with the regional council of the region in which it is situated.
The mode of calling such meeting and the procedure to be followed at it shall be determined by the regional council of the region where the establishment is situated.
The annual public information meeting held under this section may take place at the same time as the meeting of users contemplated in paragraph a of each of sections 78, 79 and 81, in paragraph a or b of section 80 or in subparagraph a or b of the first paragraph of section 82.
That meeting may be held jointly by several public establishments serving the same territory.
