Every person who contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or the regulations of the Government or of the Minister is guilty of an offence and liable, upon summary proceeding, in addition to costs, to a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $1 150 in the case of an individual, or a fine of not less than $575 nor more than $5 750 in the case of a corporation.
Notwithstanding the first paragraph, every director general, senior officer or intermediate officer of a public establishment who contravenes the first paragraph of section 134.1 is guilty of an offence and is liable, on summary proceedings, in addition to costs, to a fine equal to twice the sum of money or value of the benefit he received.
Part II of the Summary Convictions Act (chapter P-15) shall apply.
