8. Correctional counsellors shall, in particular, develop and implement reintegration programs and support services, encourage offenders to develop an awareness of their behaviour and initiate a process focusing on responsibilization. Correctional counsellors shall also act as resource persons with respect to the delinquency problems of offenders.
