S-3.1 - Act respecting safety in recreation and sports

1. In this Act, unless the context indicates otherwise,
recreation and recreational activity mean a recreational activity practised during one’s free time, determined by government regulation and having an organizational structure;
recreation body means an organization one of whose activities is to organize a recreational activity or coordinate the supply of services with regard to such an activity;
sport means a physical activity engaged in at the beginner or expert level, for competition or recreation and involving a form of training, the observance of rules of practice, supervision, technical content or a period of practice.
sports body means a group of natural persons who are individual members of a federation, or a body, association, league or club formed to organize or practise a sport;
sports event means a sports event, contest or exhibition in which professional contestants in combat sports participate;

(2)  sports event means a sports event, contest or exhibition in which professional contestants participate;
(3)  (paragraph repealed);
(4)  sports body means a group of natural persons who are individual members of a federation, or a body, association, league or club formed to organize or practise a sport;
(5)  sport means a physical activity engaged in at the beginner or expert level, for competition or recreation and involving a form of training, the observance of rules of practice, supervision, technical content or a period of practice.

(2)  sports event means a sports event, contest or exhibition in which professional contestants participate;

(4)  sports body means a group of natural persons who are individual members of a federation, or a body, association, league or club formed as a legal person to organize or practise a sport;
(5)  sport means a physical activity engaged in at the beginner or expert level, for competition or recreation and involving a form of training, the observance of rules of practice, supervision, technical content or a period of practice.
