S-26 - Act respecting mineral exploration partnerships

1. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)  “partnership” means a partnership governed by this Act;
(2)  “Minister” means the Minister of Energy and Resources;
(3)  “justice of the peace” includes a commissioner of the Superior Court and any person having the powers of a Justice of the Peace for the taking of oaths.

The Minister for Mines and Native Affairs exercises, under the authority of the Minister of Energy and Resources, the functions relating to the application of this Act, and in exercising those functions is responsible for setting out government policy with respect to the Native population and for coordinating its implementation.
