6. Each agricultural society organized in a county or in a city or town shall be a corporation under the name of “The agricultural society of the county of (or electoral division of, as the case may be)”.
The society may acquire and hold land as a site for exhibitions or for a school of agriculture or model farm, and may sell, lease or otherwise dispose of the same; but not more than two hundred acres shall be so held at any one time.
