236. Every person who contravenes this Act or a regulation or refuses to conform to, or incites a person not to conform to, a decision or order rendered under this Act or the regulations is guilty of an offence and liable,

(1)  in the case of a natural person, to a fine of not less than $600 nor more than $1,500 for a first offence, a fine of not less than $1,500 nor more than $3,000 for a second offence, and a fine of not less than $3,000 nor more than $6,000 for a third or subsequent offence; and

(2)  in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $1,500 nor more than $3,000 for a first offence, a fine of not less than $3,000 nor more than $6,000 for a second offence, and a fine of not less than $6,000 nor more than $12,000 for a third or subsequent offence.

Every person who contravenes this Act or a regulation or refuses to conform to a decision or order rendered under this Act or the regulations or incites a person to do so, is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $500 in the case of a natural person, and to a fine of not less $500 nor more than $1,000 in the case of a legal person.

For any subsequent offence, the fines provided for in the first paragraph are increased to a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1,000 in the case of a natural person and to a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $2,000 in the case of a legal person.

Every person who contravenes this act or a regulation or refuses to conform to a decision or order rendered under this act or the regulations or incites a person to do so, is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $500 in the case of an individual, and to a fine of not less $500 nor more than $1 000 in the case of a corporation.

For any subsequent offence, the fines provided for in the first paragraph are increased to a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1 000 in the case of an individual and to a minimum of $1 000 and a maximum of $2 000 in the case of a corporation.

Every person who contravenes this act or a regulation or refuses to conform to a decision or order rendered under this act or the regulations or incites a person to do so, is guilty of an offence and liable, on summary proceedings, in addition to the costs, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $500 in the case of an individual, and to a fine of not less $500 nor more than $1 000 in the case of a corporation.

For any subsequent offence, the fines provided for in the first paragraph are increased to a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1 000 in the case of an individual and to a minimum of $1 000 and a maximum of $2 000 in the case of a corporation.
