Any worker who believes he has been illegally laid off, dismissed, suspended, transferred or subjected to a discriminatory or disciplinary measure for exercising his rights or functions under this act or the regulations may submit his complaint in writing to the labour commissioner general within thirty days of the lay-off, dismissal, suspension, transfer or discriminatory or disciplinary measure or mail it to the labour commissioner general within that time. The labour commissioner general shall designate a labour commissioner to make an inquiry and dispose of the complaint.
