6. The Government appoints the chair of the board of directors for a term of up to five years.

6. The Government shall appoint one of the members of the board of directors to be chairman of the board.
The chairman of the board shall preside over the meetings of the board of directors, direct its operations and carry out the other functions vested in him by by-law of the Société.
