42. In every prosecution for an offence against this act,(a) it shall not be necessary to produce the original of any book, document, ordinance or register in possession of the Board; but a copy or an extract, certified by the secretary of the Board, shall make proof of the contents of the original;
(b) it shall be permissible to prosecute, by one and the same complaint, several offences against this act, the ordinances or regulations of the Board, committed by the same person, provided such complaint indicates, precisely, the date and the place where each offence has been committed.
