19. The pensionable salary of a public officer is, for pension purposes, the basic salary paid to him in the course of one calendar year, the basic salary to which such officer would have been entitled during a period of absence in respect of which salary insurance applies and, in the case of a female officer, the basic salary to which she would have been entitled if she had not taken maternity leave.

Unless included by government regulation, bonuses, allowances, compensations or other additional remuneration are not included in the basic salary.

19. The pensionable salary of a public officer is, for pension purposes, the salary paid to him in the course of one calendar year and that to which such officer would have been entitled during a period of absence in respect of which salary insurance applies.

The pensionable salary does not include any of the amounts excluded by regulation.

19. The pensionable salary of a public officer is, for pension purposes, the salary paid to him in the course of one calendar year and that to which such officer would have been entitled during a period of absence in respect of which salary insurance applies.

That pensionable salary does not include:

(a)  bonuses and fees;

(b)  remuneration for overtime work;

(c)  isolation premiums and indemnities for lodging and meals;

(d)  any lump sum paid to an employee at the cessation of his employment in lieu of accumulated sick-leave or vacation credit;

(e)  salary-insurance benefits, including the benefits from elective salary-insurance plans;

(f)  any other remuneration excluded by regulation.

19. The pensionable salary of a public officer or employee is, for pension purposes, the salary paid to him in the course of one calendar year and that to which such officer or employee would have been entitled during a period of absence in respect of which salary insurance applies.

That pensionable salary does not include:

(a)  bonuses and fees;

(b)  remuneration for overtime work;

(c)  isolation premiums and indemnities for lodging and meals;

(d)  any lump sum paid to an employee at the cessation of his employment in lieu of accumulated sick-leave or vacation credit;

(e)  salary-insurance benefits, including the benefits from elective salary-insurance plans;

(f)  any other remuneration excluded by a regulation made to that effect by the Government, which shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec or on any later date indicated therein.
