76.1. The days during which a teacher was on leave without pay for any period of not less than 30 consecutive days between 16 July 1970 and 1 July 1976 and the days during which he ceased, between 30 June 1965 and 1 July 1973, to participate in this plan while he pursued specialized studies, are credited to the teacher upon his request, if he(1) was authorized for such purpose by his employer;
(2) has contributed to this plan from the end of the leave without pay or specialized studies; and
(3) pays an amount representing the actuarial value of the benefits, computed on the basis of the actuarial assumptions and methods determined by regulation.
The Commission shall determine the dates when such payments must be made. All or part of the amount shall, however, bear interest, compounded annually, from the date of receipt of the application, at the rate in force under the Act respecting the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan (chapter R-10).
