7. (Repealed).
7. The council of each municipality mentioned in section 6 must submit a building by-law and a zoning by-law for approval by the Minister of Municipal Affairs. Such by-laws, or any by-law amending them, shall require only the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
If the council fails to pass the by-laws and have them approved before the period contemplated in section 6 expires, the Minister of Municipal Affairs shall have the by-laws concerned prepared at the expense of the municipality in default. The by-laws so prepared shall become binding in the municipality from the date of their publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
