79.16. The local municipality shall, within 60 days of receiving the mediator’s report, inform the mediator and the applicant in writing of the action it intends to take in response to any recommendations made and, if it intends to take no action, of the reasons for its decision.

79.16. A special fund called the farming activities fund shall be established at the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation. The fund will serve to ensure the defence of producers against whom an action for damages or injunction proceedings has or have been instituted by reason of dust, odors or noise resulting from farming activities in agricultural zones provided they carry on their farming activities according to law and in compliance with the regulations and orders made under the Environment Quality Act (chapter Q-2) with respect to dust, odors or noise resulting from farming activities in agricultural zones.
