162. The resigning notary may resume the practice of his profession with the consent of the executive committee. The executive committee may refuse such consent after giving the notary an opportunity to be heard. If he obtains such consent, the notary readmitted to practice shall be subject to sections 122 and 155.
A decision by the executive committee to refuse a notary consent to resume the practice of his profession shall be served on the notary in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25); the decision may be appealed from to the Professions Tribunal in accordance with the provisions of Division VIII of Chapter IV of the Professional Code (chapter C-26).
