22. Any person entitled to be entered on the roll who omits or neglects to be registered and who practises veterinary medicine shall not be entitled to claim any of the rights and privileges conferred by this act, and shall be liable to all the penalties imposed by this act or any other law, in the same manner as any person practising veterinary medicine without being registered.
For the purposes of this section, the following do not constitute the practice of veterinary medicine:(a) acts performed by a student in veterinary medicine undergoing a period of professional training under this act;
(b) acts performed in the course of studying veterinary medicine;
(c) acts performed in the course of scientific research.
