66. The Government may determine the extent to which the responsibilities under this Act are to be exercised by the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Sports and Recreation in the territory determined by the Government.
The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Sports and Recreation is responsible for the administration of this Act as regards the Montréal and Laval regions, including the responsibilities provided for in Chapter III of the Act, in respect of the sums from the regional development fund allocated to those regions. Order in Council 559-2003 dated 29 April 2003, (2003) 135 G.O. 2 (French), 2526; Order in Council 585-2003 dated 14 May 2003, (2003) 135 G.O. 2 (French), 2762.
The Minister of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks and Minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale region is responsible for the administration of this Act as regards the Capitale-Nationale region, including the responsibilities provided for in Chapter III of the Act, in respect of the sums from the regional development fund allocated to that region. 66. The Government may determine the extent to which the responsibilities under this Act are to be exercised by the Minister of State for Greater Montréal in the territory determined by the Government.
The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Greater Montréal exercises the responsibilities set forth in section 3, paragraph 2 of section 6 and Chapter II of this Act in the territory of the administrative regions of Montréal and Laval.
