159. A school board that, on 31 August 1997, is the holder of a day care centre permit shall retain its permit and may, notwithstanding the new provisions of section 5 of the Act, obtain the renewal of its permit, subject to the other conditions of the said Act and the regulations, for a period expiring on 31 August 2002 at the latest.
