71. For indemnity and allowance purposes, a person shall be deemed to have become a member of the National Assembly on the day last fixed for the election of a member of the National Assembly for the electoral division which he represents.
For indemnity and allowance purposes, a person who was a member of the National Assembly immediately before a dissolution thereof shall be deemed to continue to be a member until the date of the next general election.
