68. Every committee of the National Assembly, sitting in the exercise of its functions, may examine witnesses under oath upon matters relating to business then before it. For such purpose the chairman or any member of such committee may administer the oath to the witness in the following form:
“The evidence you shall give to the committee, touching (here state the matter then before the committee), shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help you God.”
