55. Except as hereinafter specially provided, no person accepting or holding any office, commission or employment of a permanent or temporary nature under the Gouvernement du Québec, to which an annual salary, or any fee, allowance, emolument or profit of any kind, coming from Québec, is attached, shall be eligible as a member of the National Assembly or may sit or vote as such while holding such office, commission or employment.
