56. The Commission may, for cause, after giving the person concerned an opportunity to be heard, cancel a permit or suspend it for such time as it may determine and notify in writing the person concerned of its decision, stating the reasons therefor.
The suspension or cancellation of a permit may be ordered upon the request of the Attorney-General, the municipality where the permit is used or any interested person.
No permit may be cancelled or suspended unless a notice of convocation before the Commission, of at least ten clear days, has been sent by registered or certified mail to the permit-holder by the secretary-general of the Commission at the address of the establishment indicated in the record on the holder, unless the cancellation or suspension is made at the holder’s request. Such notice must mention:(a) the reasons for the convocation;
(b) The date, hour and place of the hearing, which must be public.
