1. In this Act, the following words mean:
(a)  “Commission” : the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail;
(b)  “injury” : bodily injury, pregnancy, or mental or nervous shock; “injured” has a similar meaning;
(c)  “claimant” : the victim, a close relation referred to in section 5.1 or, if the victim has been killed, his dependents, the persons referred to in sections 6 and 6.1 and the parents referred to in section 7.
