Section 898.1
Disposition versions
898.1. If, on a particular day, a registered education savings plan is revocable or ceases to comply with any provision of the plan or with the registering conditions set out in section 895 or a person fails to comply with a condition or obligation imposed under Division II.21 of Chapter III.1 of Title III of Book IX, the Canada Education Savings Act (S.C. 2004, c. 26) or a program administered in accordance with an agreement entered into under section 12 of that Act, that applies in respect of a registered education savings plan, the Minister may send written notice to the promoter of the plan that the Minister proposes to revoke the registration of the plan as of the date specified in the notice, which date must not be earlier than the particular day.
898.1. If on a particular day a registered education savings plan is revocable or ceases to comply with any provision of the plan or with the conditions set out in section 895 for the plan’s registration or a person fails to comply with a condition or obligation imposed under the Canada Education Savings Act (Statutes of Canada, 2004, chapter 26) or under a program administered pursuant to an agreement entered into under section 12 of that Act that applies in respect of a registered education savings plan, the Minister may send written notice to the promoter of the plan that the Minister proposes to revoke the registration of the plan as of the day specified in the notice, which day shall not be earlier than the particular day.
