72. The receipt by the chairman of the school board and by the chairman of the dissentient school board, or by their secretaries, of the notice provided for in section 71, shall place the person who gave such notice under the jurisdiction of the school board from 1 July; that person must, if he is a ratepayer, pay his school taxes to that school board.

The receipt by the chairman of the commissioners and by the chairman of the trustees, or by their secretaries, of the notice provided for in section 71, shall place the person who gave such notice under the jurisdiction of the commissioners from the 1st of July; that person must, if he is a ratepayer, pay his school taxes to that school board.

72. The receipt by the chairman of the commissioners and by the chairman of the trustees, or by their secretaries, of the notice provided for in section 71, shall place the ratepayer who gave such notice under the jurisdiction of the commissioners, for election purposes, from the ensuing 1st of June and for all other purposes, from the 1st of July.
