63. In newly-organized municipalities, if the declaration of dissent be served upon the chairman of the school commissioners or upon their secretary within thirty days after the organization of the school corporation, the dissentients shall not be liable for any taxes imposed by the school commissioners. The elected trustees shall remain in office until the date fixed for the election of school commissioners and trustees.
Within 30 days following the service of the declaration of dissent, the dissentients shall elect their trustees as prescribed by the Act respecting school elections (chapter E-2.3).
