270. For the purposes of this division, every attendance officer shall have the powers of a constable. He may, without a warrant, enter industrial or commercial establishments, places of amusement or playgrounds, where any children obliged by this division to attend school may be employed or assembled, and may, without a warrant, apprehend and take to school any child obliged to attend school who is absent therefrom.
