Section 487 Disposition versions

487. Every person who is guilty of an offence described in section 480 is liable to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $300 nor more than $3,000 and, for any subsequent conviction, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $2,000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $600 nor more than $6,000.

Every person who is guilty of an offence described in section 480, in any one of paragraphs 1 to 3, 6 or 8 of section 481 or in section 485 is liable to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $300 nor more than $3,000 and, for any subsequent conviction, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $2,000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $600 nor more than $6,000.

487. Every person who is guilty of an offence described in section 480, in any one of paragraphs 1 to 3, 6 or 8 of section 481 or in section 485 is liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1 000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $300 nor more than $3 000 and, for any subsequent offence within two years of a conviction for the same offence, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $2 000 in the case of a natural person or, in the case of a legal person, to a fine of not less than $600 nor more than $6 000.
