44. The Board may also make regulations for determining the rules and standards concerning the composition and apportionment of the assets and liabilities of the savings and credit unions, the liquidity of their assets, including the classes of loans, investments and indebtedness permitted and the quantitative and qualitative standards applicable to each class.
Such rules and standards may be distinct according to whether they apply to all the savings and credit unions or only to those affiliated with a single federation or the non-affiliated unions.
Before passing such regulations, the Board shall consult the federation with which the unions contemplated by the regulations are affiliated.
Every draft regulation that may be made under this section must be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec, with notice that at the expiry of the thirty days following such publication, it shall be submitted to the Board for adoption.
