3. In the cases provided for by regulation of the Government, the holder of a licence must send to the board of examiners, before work is begun, the plans and specifications of a new electrical installation or of any change in an existing electrical installation.
These plans and specifications must include any information required by regulation of the Government.
The board of examiners may grant, in the case of a change in an existing electrical installation, 30 days’ delay, from the beginning of work, for the sending of the plans and specifications.
The board of examining electricians may grant provisional approval in order to facilitate the calling for tenders; such provisional approval shall be given free of charge but shall not constitute a final acceptance of the electrical installation.
