188. The returning officer appoints a secretary to each board of revisors.

The returning officer appoints a sufficient number of teams of two revising officers. Sections 182 to 184 apply to the appointment of revising officers, with the necessary modifications.

The returning officer appoints the necessary additional personnel needed by the boards of revisors to perform their functions.

188. The revisor recommended by the authorized party that ranked first in the last election or by the independent Member elected as such shall act as vice-chairman of the board of revisors.

188. The revisor recommended by the authorized party that ranked first in the last election or by the independent Member elected as such shall act as chairman of the board of revisors.

The revisor recommended by the authorized party that ranked second in the last election shall act as vice-chairman.

188. The returning officer shall establish, for all the polling subdivisions in his electoral division, the number of filing offices determined by the chief electoral officer. He shall immediately inform the chief electoral officer, each candidate and each authorized party authority at the level of the electoral division of the selected places.

The filing offices shall be situated and distributed in such a way as to accommodate the electors of the polling subdivisions as equally as possible and, barring exceptional circumstances, shall be accessible to handicapped persons.

The office of the returning officer is a filing office.
