162. The returning officer may establish, in cooperation with the executive director or director general of an institution referred to in section 3, the manner of proceeding with the enumeration of the persons lodged in the institution in order to ensure that such persons are registered on the list of electors.

The manner of proceeding with the enumeration must provide, in particular, that the enumerators have access to such persons.

162. The returning officer may establish, in cooperation with the director of a hospital centre or reception centre within the meaning of the Act respecting health services and social services (chapter S-5), the manner of proceeding with the enumeration at the centre in order to ensure that all the electors are registered on the list of electors.

The manner of proceeding with the enumeration must provide, in particular, for the enumerators to meet the electors who are at the centre.
