557. The clerk or the clerk-treasurer shall table the certificate before the council at its next sitting.
If a list of electors whose names are on the permanent list of electors has been transmitted by the Chief Electoral Officer under section 546, the clerk or the clerk-treasurer shall send the Chief Electoral Officer a copy of the certificate showing the date on which the certificate was tabled before the council.
