The provisions of a general law or special act or of letters patent that apply to a municipality, or of a municipal by-law, concerning the matters contemplated in the chapters or divisions of this Part that are applicable to this municipality, continue to apply, mutatismutandis, to the extent that they are not inconsistent with these chapters or divisions.
