The filiation of a child is established with regard to the mother or parent by the fact of their having given birth to him and, with regard to the father or other parent, by the acknowledgement of a bond of filiation in the declaration of birth in accordance with the rules prescribed by this Code.
In the absence of such an acknowledgement in the declaration of birth, uninterrupted possession of status is sufficient.
