28. (Repealed).

28. The advisory committee shall advise the board on any matter submitted to it by the board. It shall refer to the board any problem or matter that it deems likely to require the board examination or action.
With the prior approval of the board, the advisory committee may undertake to examine any matter related to horse racing, racehorse breeding and training or the operation of horse racing betting houses, and conduct or commission any survey it deems useful or necessary.
The advisory committee may also receive the requests and suggestions of persons and groups on any matter subject to this section.

The words “the board” are replaced by the words “the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food” to the extent that this section applies to the promotion of and assistance to the horse racing and racehorse training industry. (1993, c. 39, s. 95).
