In the months of January, April, July and October of each year, or at such other time as may be fixed by the Attorney General, the coroner shall transmit to the Attorney General, in duplicate, a detailed statement of all investigations made and inquests held during the previous three months. Such statement must be accompanied by a certificate from the clerk of the peace for the district establishing that the documents in connection with inquests held and the minutes of all investigations made during the previous three months have been deposited in his office.
