36. Unless he has reasonable cause to believe that a coroner, a physician, a specialized nurse practitioner or a peace officer has already been informed, every person having knowledge of a death must immediately notify a coroner or a peace officer where it appears that the death has occurred as a result of negligence or in obscure or violent circumstances or where the identity of the deceased person is unknown to him.
