216. (Repealed).

216. No cooperative whose principal object is the furnishing of goods and services directly to consumers may be incorporated under a corporate name that includes any of the expressions “Magasin Coop”, “Cooprix”, “Dépanneur Coop”, or “Coopgro”, unless the Fédération des Magasins Co-op has approved its use of the expression.
A cooperative incorporated under a corporate name that includes one of the expressions mentioned in this section is not required to add a term prescribed by section 16 to its corporate name.
