121. On receiving the articles of amendment, the accompanying documents, if any, and the fees prescribed by government regulation, the Minister may, if he considers it advisable, accept the amendment.
For that purpose, the Minister, in addition to the procedure set out in subparagraphs 2 and 3 of the second paragraph of section 13, shall endorse “articles amended” on each duplicate of the articles of amendment, with the date of approval, or any date subsequent to the receipt of the articles that is mentioned in the articles, followed by his signature or that of his designee.
The Minister shall send one copy of the articles of amendment accompanied with, where applicable, the notice mentioned in section 35, to the enterprise registrar, who shall deposit them in the register.
The amendment is effective from the date appearing on the articles of amendment.
