111. The Minister may, after consultation with the Minister of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks, establish wildlife sanctuaries on lands in the domain of the State and dedicate them to the conservation, development and utilization of wildlife and to the carrying on of recreational activities incidental thereto.
The Minister may include in a wildlife sanctuary any private land subject to an agreement between the owner, including a municipality or a metropolitan community, and the Minister.
Where an agreement is entered into under the second paragraph, it binds the owner and his successors for the term indicated therein, including the renewal period, if any; a certified copy of the agreement, accompanied with a copy of the order establishing the wildlife sanctuary, must be filed at the registry office for registration of the prescribed particulars in the land register.
An order made by the Minister under this section shall be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec, together with a plan of the wildlife sanctuary delimited, and comes into force on the date of its publication or on any later date indicated therein.
