2. The indemnity provided for in section 1 is increased to $37 202 from 1 April 1983.
Between 1 April 1983 and 31 December 1983, the increase in the indemnity provided for in the first paragraph must not be taken into account for the purposes of computing the additional indemnity provided for in section 7 of this Act or section 7 of the Executive Power Act (chapter E-18).
