12. Penal proceedings in view of imposing a sanction for an offence under any provision of this Act must be instituted within six months from the commission of the offence.

12. Prosecutions under this Act shall be instituted within six months after the date of the offence, and shall be governed by the provisions of the Summary Convictions Act (chapter P-15).
