33. The name of the company must be set out in legible characters in all negotiable instruments, contracts, invoices and orders for goods or services.

33. The company cannot, in the carrying out of its affairs, use any name other than that given to it by the letters patent unless it has changed its name by by-law in accordance with section 21, and in that event it may only use its new name.

A company shall be incorporated only under a French name or a name consisting of both a French and an English version.

The Minister may however, in accordance with the regulations provided for in section 23, allow a proper name or expression resulting from the artificial combination of letters, syllables or figures to be inserted into the name of a company.

If the company has a French and an English name, or a name consisting of a French and an English version, it may be legally designated by its French name or the French version thereof, or by its English name or the English version thereof, or by both names or both versions.
