170. A member of the Security Council appointed by the Council becomes disqualified to act if he ceases to be a member of the Council or, if he was appointed in his capacity as member of the executive committee, if he ceases to be a member of such committee.
The Council shall, according to section 165, appoint another person to complete the term of the member becoming disqualified; if the latter is the chairman of the Security Council, the Government shall appoint another chairman to complete the term of the chairman he replaces.
