86. The Community, by by-law passed by a majority vote of the members of the Council present at a special meeting called for such purpose, may order that the Community shall have competence in any one of the following matters in whole or in part, in all or part of its territory:(a) recreation of an intermunicipal nature, including the establishment of regional parks;
(b) the co-ordination of the police and fire prevention departments;
(c) public health, except in matters contemplated in the Agricultural Products, Marine Products and Food Act (chapter P-29) and the Dairy Products and Dairy Products Substitutes Act (chapter P-30).
Such by-law, to come into force, shall be approved by the Government which shall fix the date of its coming into force.
Notice of such approval shall be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
