160. The board of directors is composed of one representative of each municipality whose territory is included in that of the transit authority and served by its public transport network.
The council of each of the municipalities shall designate its representative from among its members.
The clerk or secretary-treasurer of each of the municipalities shall, before the first meeting of the board of directors which its representative must attend, transmit to the transit authority a certified copy of the resolution designating the representative.

160. The Council of the Community shall appoint the representatives contemplated in paragraph 2 of section 159 and, among them, the chairman and vice-chairman of the Transit Commission.
For the purposes of the first paragraph, only the members representing a municipality served by the transport network of the Transit Commission may vote.
The representatives mentioned in the first paragraph must be members of the Council of the Community.

The chairman and general manager is appointed for a term of office of ten years and the other commissioners for a term that is fixed by the Council of the Community and that may not exceed five years. Nevertheless, a commissioner remains in office after the expiry of his term until his successor is appointed.
Such terms shall be renewable.
